The New Approach to Human Resources in Tourism
Tourism is a more complex system than many other services. To achieve the goal continuously meet customer requirements, a manager should integrate business goals and resources of the company into a functional whole. The human resources in that process, assuming that they are managed qualitatively, represent the main competitive advantage and inexhaustible source of greater competitive capability and profit. Knowledge about the human resources management and its application mean the basis for the survival and development of the tourist and hospitality companies in the environment of ceaseless changes. Therefore it has been endeavoured with this work-paper to point out the role of human resources, to provide a more detailed understanding of the linkages and interactions between HRM and tourism, by reviewing appropriate literature in these areas and through analysis of some cases.
