Musically-historical analyses of Albert Haler in Croatia during the active career of Albert Haler (from World War I until the end of World War II) occur the same time as when the work of the writer in the musical creativity which, according to today's musically-historical thought mark the musical culture in Croatia between the two World Wars (Andreis, 1974). That name and time attribute are in accordance with the ideological gudelines of the socialist society after 1945. Actually we are talking about a greater time period which constits of and whose predecessor is the era of the so-called transitive group of composers (Kos 1976) that is, the transitive era (Andreis, 1974). B. Bersa, Rosenberg-Ružić, F. Dugan Senior, Hatze i D. Pejačević are of the more prominent composers who are a part of this era. In the above mentioned work we are interested in a few possible relative evaluation categories among which primarily the subject matter of Alberta Haler and the Croatian musicologists as well as composers (including the writers of musical pieces).
