Experience and state of the knowledge on the way of technology transition
Anniversaries, occasional events and similar opportunity are a moment when people attempt evaluates acquired experience and state of the knowledge. It is probably a reason of many meetings, seminars, and workshops on the boundary of decade; century or millenium, in spite of all this dates is not based on, e.g. astronomical base than on people agreement. Result of so meetings can be considered as a testament for the future, sometimes it can develop a new state of knowledge. The paper carried out on different field of forestry life, expertise on accepted principles, says what uncertainty and give foreseeing of requires further research. Within this framework it should be objectively as possible to find technical position. Normally, there will no be always consensus within IUFRO members and Conference participants. The choice of one of many possibilities in different circumstances in one country will sometimes bring about new ways in Technology transition. Forester as technologists must clearly define task to other professions in research and development of forest techniques, e.g. safety of vehicles and work machines, off-road machines and environmental interact, problem of fulfilled mission, physiological needs, to try find environmentally friendly solutions, before some application or idea realization, with modeling and simulation proved it, energy consumption control, to find better fuels and oils, a same as friendly materials, etc.
