Sažetak
The paper presents one of possible approaches to the construction of the access forest truck roads, in this case the translation of the main (trunk) skidding tilt up to 12%. Such an approach to the construction of forest truck roads can generate significant financial savings. It assumes significantly smaller volume of earthworks in particular in the preparation of ground and the lower road layer, and thus lower financial investment in road construction. The paper through a detailed comparative analysis of the estimated measures and estimated costs of the transition and new construction works, clearly indicates the specific phases of works in which scale and cost of construction works differences are emphasized. Moreover, the ecological segment, which is lately more emphasized, is also being considered and with this approach of the road construction fully applied to.
