The position of energy companies on energy markets: Changes of the role of medium and small energy companies. State majority till the 1990’s – introduction of privatization after 2000 – fast privatization 2003/2008 and privatization slowdown after the crisis in 2008/2009. Changes of the national energy markets, particularly natural gas and electricity markets. Restructuring processes, mergers & acquisitions, particularly after 2009. Central & SE European countries & Croatia has to ensure energy supply and cooperate in the international initiatives – joint energy projects.
