Introducing Kanban Methodology in Design Maintenance Organization oft he Telecom Company,
A lot of work in the area of software engineering has been aimed to reduce unnecessary work, cost and operating time. Lean and Agile software development methods have appeared to be very common in today's IT world. Recently, some renown companies have introduced Kanban method. However, no telecom company have reported the implementation of these methods, yet. This paper considers the introduction of Kanban method within the design maintenance organization of the telecom company. Possible improvements include cost reduction, knowledge sharing and motivation of the people. Within the paper the Kanban method has been compared with Scrum and relevant implementation issues have been presented.
