The general flexibility of female students after one year physical education treatment

The aim of this research is to determine the general flexibility of female students of Faculty of Teacher Education after one year physical education treatment. The research was conducted on sample of 42 female students of Faculty of Teacher Education at the age 20 to 23 divided in control and experimental group. The students were measured in 4 tests for the evaluation flexibility of different parts of the body. The t-test for dependent sample was used to establish the differences between the initial and final measurement. The results of T-test show that in the experimental group statistically significant differences between initial and final measurement occurred in the all variables (MFLISK, MFLPLKD, MFLPLKL) except in test bent trunk forward (MFLPRK). In the control group did not achieve any statistically significant changes in all tests that evaluated general flexibility. This research confirm that the stretching program increase functional range of motion and also positive contribution on pupil's mental and physical health.
