Sažetak
The main goal of this study was to determine the effects of the physical education treatment based on the elements of handball on motor abilities of pupils. The research was conducted on a sample of 38 fourth-grade students between the ages 9 to 10 on a regular lesson of Physical education in one elementary school in Zagreb. The obtained results were evaluating on initial and final measurements of the experimental and control group. Measurements were provided by battery of six tests for establishing motor abilities. For determining the differences between groups the t-test analyses was used. The obtained results showed a statistically significant difference in experimental group in test for assessing flexibility (MBF), frequency of hand (MHT15) and static strength (MFAH). Based on the t-test in the control group were established statistically significant differences in test which measure flexibility (MBF), frequency of hand (MHT15) and explosive strength (MSLJ). Final results of the t-test between experimental and control groups showed statistically significant difference in the coordination (MPB), frequency of hand (MHT15) and static strength (MFAH). It can be concluded that experimental and regular exercise program had similarly positive significant contribute on some dimension (flexibility, coordination, speed, static strength) which transformation were induced by exercise contents in some group.
