Interdependence of organizational learning and innovativeness in Croatian firms
In today’s business environment, characterized by increasing dynamic and complexity, organisations are faced with the challenge of continuous and rapid adaption, in which organizational learning, through innovation as a commercialized knowledge, plays a central role. In order to determine the role of organizational learning in development of innovativeness within the firm, both concepts were theoretically clarified and the model of interdependence between organizational learning and the firm’s innovativeness was formed, on the basis of which the empirical research was conducted. Obtained results from the conducted empirical research, which has encompassed 66 companies of all sizes in the Republic of Croatia, indicate the strong interdependence of the two variables. Apart from that, there are a number of implications of the influence of particular dimensions of organizational learning development on firm’s innovativeness, which need to be considered by the firms, while conducting their business activity.
