Investigations of optical absorption edge of Cu_6PS_5I_(1-x)Cl_x mixed crystals at high absorption levels in the range of direct optical transitions were performed in the temperature range 77-320 K. In superionic phase the Urbach behaviour of optical absorption edge is revealed, the temperature and the compositional dependences of the Urbach absorption edge parameters are determined. The Urbach shape of absorption edge is successfuly explained by theory of Dow-Redfield (exiton-phonon interaction).
