Modern approach to the marketing concept of Nikola Tesla memorial center bisiness – Smiljan
Starting from the thesis that with the full implementation of modern marketing concept we can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations of Nikola Tesla Memorial Center - Smiljan and thus provide significant support to economic development of Lika-Senj County, the fundamental objective of this study is to investigate the specifics of marketing as a business concept or logic, i.e. the doctrine in business of the Memorial Centre. The research topic of importance to this work consists of more dimensions of contemporary approaches to the marketing concept of operations. In accordance with this the purpose of this study is: 1) to explore how the Memorial Centre can best adapt its own resources and economic objectives of its business to customers' needs, i.e. to economic development of Lika-Senj County as a whole, 2) to explore opportunities for integration of all elements and activities through marketing into one integrated system, and 3) to explore the use of the Internet and other digital technologies as a support to modern marketing concept.
