Disparity of Global and EU Migration Trends

There are three significant questions related to migration. First, how do immigrants settle down and cope in their countries of immigration ; second, what kind of impact do immigrants have on domestic wages and employment ; and lastly, which immigration policy is the most beneficial for an immigration receiving country. Although these questions are highly relevant, reliable data on real migration flows are still inadequate. Consequently, we cannot bring general conclusions about immigration that would include a vast number of countries, considering the fact that the research results are often highly dependent on the methods used in counting the immigrant population in each respective state.
