Reliability of Antipersonnel Landmines Detection
For the real-time life-support and the survival of all form of life in the place where several millions of Antipersonnel Landmines has been left in more than 60 countries around the world, the only future is intrinsically linked to the technology. Taking into account the possible implementation of many NDT methods and techniques and recognising that NDT is a powerful resource of methods for Antipersonnel Landmines Detection with promises to be even greater in the future, this paper describes results from investigation of the problems associated with internationally recommended 99,6% probability of detection and its reliability.
