INNOVATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN FORESTRY
The paper presents results of research of innovation and organizational culture in Croatian forestry. By questioning the employees of state forestry company in relation to the broadest management and business issues, the state of innovativeness and organizational culture were established. The investigation included organizational characteristics of the company, characteristics of management practice, decision-making process, perception and attitude towards innovation etc. Aim of the paper is to provide information about innovation and organizational culture in forestry, highlight the need to encourage and develop innovations and raise the forestry profession's awareness about the importance and role of organizational culture. The results of research point to an adverse situation and the need to change and improve organizational culture in Croatian forestry.
