A workshop was held by the Italian Ministry of Health and EFSA European Food Safety Authority in Parma, “Traceability in the sector of livestock production” (Dr. Piergiorgio Sabatini) and visits were made to a dairy factory, C`a de Stefani Dairy Factory (main products “Grano Padano” and “Provolone Valpadana” cheeses), cattle farms, a Horse Clinic (Dr. Sandro Barbacini) and the Istituto Zooprofilattico section in Parma (ISZLER). Among many colleagues from Ireland, Slovak Republic, Ukraine, Latvia, Romania, Russia, Poland, Israel, Palestine, India, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran and Turkey, two participants were from Croatia: Marko Samardžija, DVM, PhD, Associate Professor, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagreb and Dražen Đuričić, PhD, Senior Scientific Associate, Veterinary Practice Đurđevac.
