POLITICAL INFLUENCE ON THE WORK OF HEALTH INSTITUTIONS IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA – A NORMATIVE AND PRACTICAL PERSPECTIVE
The purpose of this work is to research and present political influence and its appertaining scope of political interventions on the activity of medical and health institutions in the Republic of Croatia. The normative perspective and level of political influence is researched by the documentation method and analysis of contents of the Statute – fundamental normative acts of health institutions that define the organisation, planning and management of health institutions. The practical perspective and level of political influence on the work of health institutions will be documented by the results of discussion lead at the round table “The Current Moment of Croatian Health System and its Practise” held on 22nd January 2010 at the Medical School of the University of Rijeka organised by the Department of Social Sciences and Medical Humanities and the Croatian Bioethics Society – branch in Rijeka.
