Tourist traveling as initial factor in traffic Connections of the emitting euro-market
Regarding its territory and demography Croatia is a small country, and lacking the major economic activities Croatia has to base its development strategy on its comparative advantages and priorities regarding her environment. The comparative advantages of Croatia with relation to many surrounding countries are reflected in her geo-traffic position and the sea with all the accompanying factors. These primarily refer to TOURISM as the most profitable Croatian "Product", a kind of "cash cow" and the main flywheel of the economic growth through stimulation and expansion of the economic platform for other goods and activities. Since ac-cording to its general definition TOURISM means MOVEMENT - it is clear that it simply cannot exist without the adequate transport infrastruc-ture discussed among other things in this paper
