Expression of bacteriophage derived scFv and their incorporation into third generation porphyrin immunoconjugates for targeted PDT

An expression system giving high yield of scFv fragments has been established. The molar ratios at which the conjugation to scFv was carried out has been optimized. These immunoconjugates showed low levels of non-covalently associated porhyrin, minimizing potential non-specific cytotoxicity.
