Fotoinducirana H-apstrakcija kod N-(4-homoadamantil)ftalimida
The photochemistry of different alkyl- and arylphthalimides has been in the focus of interest of researchers for a long time [1]. Since photoreactivity of phthalmide derivatives can generally be tuned by irradiation conditions and addition of specific reagents, often giving complex azaheterocycles, it can be applied as a key step in organic synthesis. In our previous studies we have found that different adamantylphthalimide derivatives in the triplet excited state undergo photoinduced H-abstraction and give new polycyclic structures [2]. Herein we present synthesis and photochemistry of novel N-(4-homoadamantyl)phthalimide (1). Photoreaction of 1 delivers three products 2, syn-3 and anti-3, that were isolated and characterized by spectroscopic methods. Photochemical reaction mechanism for the formation of 2, syn-3 and anti-3 will be presented.
