Private International Law Aspects of Legally Regulated Forms of Non-Marital Cohabitation and Registered Partnership
This article addresses the issue of non-marital cohabitation and registered partnership as recognised and regulated under national laws and approached by scholars, with specific emphasis put on the choice-of-law rules. Besides providing several practical solutions, the aim of the aouthor was to answer the question of ehether this is the right time for states to commence working on unifying conflict rules with regard to the both legal institutions. As far non-marital cohabitation the author's conclusion is affirmative. Registered partnership, on the other hand, has not yet reached worldwide acceptance necessary for unified regulation on international level.
