Čimbenici opterećenja djelatnika na poslovima ručne naplate cestarina

Toll collection is a very important traffic sub-process which has an important influence on the reliability of the entire traffic process flows which include also travelling of road vehicles along motorways. This study analyses and by using concrete parameters with numerical values estimates the system of several concurrent factors of disturbance from the working and/or traffic environment which affect the employees working at toll booths rendering them less reliable and safe during their work of manual toll collection. The traffic environment is defined outside the working environment of the toll booth itself and encompasses also the dynamic traffic situation, since the factors of subjective disturbance of employees are both the number of vehicles and the groups of vehicle categories per individual exit lanes. The action of factors of temporary subjective disturbances and/or permanent psychological – physiological changes, apart from the individual endurance of employees, significantly depends on the static anthropo-measures of employees, on the traffic volume at individual toll booth, on the distribution of the required equipment within the field of vision and the reach of hands in the sitting working position within the very toll booth, and changes dynamically depending also on the season, day in the week, time of day, and the number of vehicles and groups of vehicle categories in individual groups of exit lanes. Final results obtained by ergo-assessment based on the interviewed 50 male respondents have been confirmed also by the statistics on the traffic volume from the year 2008 for the busiest toll booth station Lučko on the Zagreb-Rijeka traffic route. Systemic ergo-assessment of the intensity of the overall psychophysical efforts has been enabled by the calculation of the numerical value of the index of importance IV which is used to integrally and equally recognise in all employees both the influence of the incidence percentage of the individual factor of subjective disturbance and the influence of average grade of the subjective disturbance intensity. The insight into the structure of the system of concurrent ergo-assessment factors has also enabled the separation of eight dominant and seven important ergo-assessment factors whose influence on the total ergo-assessment needs to be reduced or eliminated in the possible construction of the toll booths in the future if manual toll collection is not to be substituted by some of the alternative toll collection systems such as vignettes. Concrete measures have been proposed and attempts should be made to implement them in designing and guiding the traffic process of manual toll collection and in designing the toll booths and the toll station. The same measures will unify and/or reduce the intensity of the entire psychophysical burden on the employee per all exit lanes.
