Nelinearni dinamički proračun nadogradnje poslovnog tornja Cibona u Zagrebu
The thesis focuses on nonlinear response history analysis with emphasis on seismic loading. Theoretical background for performing nonlinear dynamic analysis of structures as well as for formulating appropriate numerical models is presented. The presented theory is then utilized to perform seismic evaluation of a multi-storey extension of the Cibona Business Tower in Zagreb. A geometrically nonlinear structural model was created and nonlinear TH analysis using Newmark’s direct integration algorithm was performed. Ground motion records modified to match code (Eurocode 8) specified target response spectrum were used as input. A comparison with LTH analysis and FNA method coupled with LDR vectors was made.
