Harmony in dermatology and venereology – successfully approached

It is my pleasure and honour on behalf of the Local Organizing and Scientific Committee, to thank all attendees on the 7th EADV Spring Symposium which was hold in Cavtat, Croatia, from May 13 – 16, 2010. The 7th Spring Symposium of EADV in Croatia brought dermatologists from all parts of Europe and the World. Therefore, Croatia was proud to host this major event for the first time EADV on our home soil. There were attendees from 78 countries from all continents. The 7th EADV Spring Symposium had the logo “Harmony in Dermatology & Venereology”, inspired by the need of co-existence of skin and venereal diseases. This 7th Spring Symposium brought together a rich scientific programme emphasizing the profound and complex influence of skin health on all the aspects of human life. Prevention as well as management of skin diseases has given the opportunity to physicians, scientists to meet and share the perspective of dermatology and venereology. In addition to the scientific programme near 1800 attendees found Dubrovnik’s surrounding area, lovely in spring, but also that more distant regions offered various possibilities to spend memorable days in rich cultural heritage of our tumultuous history at the crossroad of civilisations, as well as Croatia’s splendid natural landscapes.
