Instability of liquid interface surface in microgravity
Problem of evolution of liquid interface surface quite often occurs in usual terrestrial metallurgy, however gravitational mechanism of shaping, as a rule, is very fast and passing of shaping can be not considered. On the other hand, it is quite slow in microgravity conditions so, that the flow can be modeled by Stokes flow model. Correspondent mathematical model is developed in the present work. Boundary element method is used as a tool of numerical simulation. Several examples of numerical calculations are made to illustrate the problem.
