In-medium NN cross section below 100A MeV determined from the early dynamical reaction phase

Implications of the in-medium modifications of nucleon-nucleon (NN) cross section on a number of observables have been studied below 100/4 MeV with the semi-classical Landau-Vlasov model and the momentum-dependent Gogny interaction. Emphasis is put on the early dynamical reaction phase for both a symmetric Ni+Ni and an asymmetric Ar+Ni reactions. Simulations were carried out at three energies for each system studied by covering the full span of impact parameter range and by varying the NN cross section from a half to twice the value of the free nucleon-nucleon scattering cross section.
