Without any doubt, employees are the greatest value of any economic entity. However, everyone in the organization of the company does not have the same type of human resources and knowledge. Human resources is the name of the organization theory of investment in human skills to increasingly contributes to the total production with education, expertise, talents, skills and knowledge of creative works. The application of knowledge leads to changes, new products and services to become more successful in business. Training and professional knowledge of workers becomes competitiveness factor and the fundamental role of human capital already gets full expression in the resolution of the primary tasks of contemporary economic analysis. The results of the questionnaires sent to wood processing and furniture production industries give us a survey of the current situation and provide guidelines for future needs for knowledge in terms of type of training, trends and amounts of investment.
