External Magnetic Field Density of Main Traction Transformer for EMU
In this paper magnetic flux density in the surrounding of the EMU transformer is modeled and calculated in FEM. Most frequent operating mode for the basic 50 Hz current hamonic and most represented higher harmonic of 1950 Hz loading current are analized. Paper shows loading of the motor windings mode where the magnetic field is maximal. Matching calculated and measured values were obtained on the finished transformer. The developed calculation has proved to be useful tool for the calculation for this type of transformer.
