Sažetak
This paper presents a novel approach to the problems in passive RFID systems which are utilizing a backscatter based communications. The commonly used halfwave rectifier is here replaced by proposed full-wave bridge rectifier. The modulator switch circuit that controls backscatter based communication is now more power-aware with possibility to choose the trade-off between the power-save and the transmission range. The various proposed combinations of the rectifier and modulator circuits are discussed and simulated.
