Specialized system of scientific and technological information for materials and products - first draft

Developed was the first draft of a specialized information system for materials and produce within the Yugoslav System of Scientific and Technological Information. Analyzed were the levels of development of such systems in the world and in Yugoslavia, and the main problems in their realization were recognized. The potential participants in the organization of such systems and the potential users were identified. The system structure, the model of linkage, organization and coordination of participants were described. The possibilities of connection with other relevant international systems of the same kind were designated. The main assortment of information services was established.
