Pluriperspectivity and Integrative Bioethics in Development Strategies of Healthcare
Aim of research: To research, problematize and make current the pluralism of perspectives, orientation and theoretical-practical approaches for the consideration and solution of bioethics problems and issues which are conceptualized in policy documents and proclaimed a priority in the practical realization of the development strategies of healthcare, as are commonly termed the policy documents which regulate the bioethics field of biomedicine and healthcare. Methods and research procedures: In the fundamental policy documents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Croatia and Republic of Slovenia, ways of approaching the solution of bioethics problems shall be researched ; the method of content analysis shall establish perspectives and their mutual relationship in the problem field of biomedicine and healthcare ; the method of classification shall determine the place and representation of cultural aspects ; the method of description combined with an explanation shall emphasize the main features of bioethics problems and issues ; the comparative method shall find out what is common and what is different in the bioethics problem field of the countries in pattern, and the method of ideal types shall emphasize the model of solving bioethics issues which makes some of the countries in pattern recognizable. Obteined result: It is expected that the research shall point at a demand that in documents intended to characterize the development strategies of healthcare be defined the pluriperspective approach to bioethics problems in the field of biomedicine and healthcare, and that it shall emphasize the integrative intervention as a start-up condition for the achievement of equal rights to health of all members of the society, the increase in quality of healthcare services and conditions for the provision of a healthy living – fundamental humanistic orientation in the solution of bioethics problems. The results achieved by research, on the actual presence of a pluralism of orientation and perspectives in national policy documents on the development of healthcare, may warn to the requirement of questioning the responsibility and value system in institutions in which the proclaimed goals should be realized in practise.
