Composting Toilet, an Contribution to Sustainable Development
Demands for drinking water and its quality are higher and higher today. In same time resources of drinking water are reduced because of excessive use or pollution. Most conventional toilet systems, such as septic tanks were not developed with the environment in mind, so they are often a major cause of unnecessary pollution. Beside pollution, usage of drinking water to flush toilets in most cases, are less and less acceptable today. Composting toilets (waterless, odorless toilet treatment system), uses no chemicals, or water and has no polluting discharge. It is based on one of the oldest principles in nature - simple organic decomposition. These days is available on the market several types of composting toilets, for home, marine , or road vehicle use, which contribute in sustainable development by reduction of pollution of the drinking water, soil and seas on the earth .
