QUALITY ANALYSIS OF GEODETIC CONTROL FOR ARENA ZAGREB CONSTRUCTION
Since the geodetic control points are the base for all surveying tasks, the quality of these tasks will directly depend of the quality of geodetic control. The main two elements of geodetic network quality (accuracy) are its precision and reliability. There are different precision and reliability measures for the geodetic control. The positioning precision, as one of the most important component of geodetic network quality, has been expressed in various ways depending on the positioning method. The standards have referred to the precision of measurements and not to the position, i.e. the coordinates of the points. In this paper the new standards for reporting the precision of geodetic control positioning (horizontal and vertical), prescribing by international standards in the field of geospatial information (ISO 19113), that have been accepted as European, i.e. Croatian standards, will be presented. There is only one type of data used that the standards refer to, i.e. the coordinates of geodetic control points. In analysing the quality of the geodetic control positioning, it is necessary to test, besides its precision, the quality of the network taking into consideration the aspect of reliability. In the analysis of the geodetic control reliability described in this paper, traditional Baarda/s reliability measure for terrestrial observations has been used. Precision and internal reliability analysis of the geodetic control will be shown on the example of geodetic control established for the construction of Arena Zagreb, multi-purpose hall, initially constructed for Handball World Championships held in January 2009. in Croatia. For the adjustment of the network, software Columbus 3.7 has been used. This software, as its output, shows all the precision and reliability measures described in this article.
