Securitization and financial institutions' efficiency

Financial institutions’ clients, public as potential investor in their equity, supervisors, financial analysts, shareholders, management and others like scientists, students, and society etc. are interested in maximizing financial institutions’ shareholder's value. Different methodologies of financial ratios are most used analytical tools for analyzing the success of financial institutions total activities which permit easier management decisions making in high competitive financial market. Securitization is modern financial institutions’ activity with broaden positive and negative impact on financial institutions performance but also on financial stability and economy at all. In that sense the main goal of the paper is econometrically testing chosen methodologies of financial institutions’ performance analyses, especially the influence of their securitization activities on the financial institutions efficiency, performance, completely market value and financial stability at all. First part of the paper cover the basic characteristics of financial institutions securitization structures, second part concerns the analysis existing theoretical and practical background of financial institutions financial analysis and the third part comprises regression analyses which explain the relation of securitization activities and financial institutions efficiency.
