Concerns about the effects of platelet concentrate.

Comment on article by Orrego et al. entitled "Effects of platelet concentrate and a bone plug on the healing of hamstring tendons in a bone tunnel". We suggest that the role of PDGF in postoperative graft healing in bone tunnel should be evaluated earlier and that graf healing in bone tunnel should be assessed with quantitative evaluation of angiogenesis using magnetic resonance angiography or similar methods.
