The Present and Future Relationship Between DSO and the Customer Regardings Service Quality

As a result of electric power market liberalization, the energy market in Croatia began to open in 2006. and continued to gradually open until July 1, 2008., which means that from that date competitive energy market is open for retail markets and all customers have the legal right to choose their electricity supplier. This paper will present initial experiences in service quality implementation in HEP Distribution System Operator (HEP DSO). Also, a vision for a future distribution system in Croatia will be discussed, with areas that will be the key for technology development and the advantages of the new electricity market.
