Ivo Pilar and the Art of the Possible: Croatian between Central Europe and the Balkans

In his political activities and writings Ivo Pilar strove for the best solution to guarantee the national existence of the Croats within the Central European geopolitical space. In the Kingdom of SHS he became a persona non grata due to his political beliefs. During the last decade of his life he maintained contacts with the most important Croatian politicians.
