Reality and perception: The limits of current anthropology

Anthropology, with the subject of its concern, comprises many fields that within a classical division of scientific disciplines - especially concerning our part of the world and its curricula's of many known educational programs - are not represent enough. This specially pertains to the problem of accepting a rigid definition of the discipline. Today anthropology offers much more - based on the new insight, as well as new methods of scientific research work (which every day provide new possibilities and perspectives, sometimes even unexpected accomplishments) - much more than was provided for in the moment of creating its differentia specifica. As long as anthropological science will be differentiated from other sciences only on the basis of its certain analytical skill (of which we already warned as early as the thirty years ago, as the dangers of "logical errors"), remaining within the narrow boundaries of the local level, within small communities, and problems, there is a imperative of for enhancing the co-operation with other academic fields. Anthropology is not anymore only a study of alternative system, beliefs and practices /with the use of a critical-interpretative approach). The focus is moved towards the way in which all insights about human body and population are construed, observed and repeatedly overbridged in the dynamic process through time and space. In the range from a totally abstract to the clearly defined historical characteristics are unavoidably connected to the research of specific problems in creating biosocial reality, since the historical processes are the laboratory in which human populations are created.
