Specific motor abilities among first year female students as the criterion for election and approach to handball course exam on Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb

The goal of this research is to establish the difference in basic and specific motor abilities defined by tests which contain different techniques of handling the ball among female students who passed the handball course exam on Faculty of Kinesiology immediately after the lectures i.e. in the summer exam period and female students who passed the exam in exam periods which followed after the summer period. Multivariant indicators revealed statistically significant difference between two groups of female students (Wilks' Lambda=0, 42 ; p<0.00). The results of univariant analysis of variance indicate that all observed variables statistically significant contribute to the above mentioned difference.
