Effect of autocatalytic nucleation on synthesis of zeolite A from hydrogel

Since classic theories of nucleation (homogeneous, heterogeneous and secondary) could not accurately describe entire crystallization curve, appropriate model of autocatalytic nucleation was developed. In this work, we will show which physicochemical parameters have influence on the nucleation process during synthesis of zeolite A from medium dense gel. Amongst the goals of the study is also to verify how accurate is "gel memory" effect in a system with following starting chemical composition (oxide form): 3.2 Na2O : 1.05 Al2O3 : 2 SiO2 : 250 H2O
