John Werning and his collaborators have prepared an excellent textbook on the current trends in treating patients with oral cancer. They have managed to present a very detailed multidisciplinary approach to these patients, with a comprehensive overview. The book is rich in excellent illustrations, divided in 31 chapters with a logical sequence that eases the reading. Coauthors of the chapters are renowned experts in the fields of head and neck oncology, radiotherapy, maxillofacial and reconstructive surgery and dentistry, oral surgery included. Every chapter has a summarized conclusion and a reference list at the end.
