Nematode community structure in vineyard at two depth layers
Nematode community structure was analyzed in vineyard in order to determine the biodiversity of nematode community. Differences in nematode community structure were compared between two depth layers: 0-30 cm and 30-60 cm. Research was conducted in May, 2009, on the area of Martin, in Croatia. Nematode communities were analyzed to genus level. Total number of nematodes was significantly higher in soil layer 0-30 cm. Number of genera occurred in investigation was 32, while 29 occurred in layer 0-30 cm, and 24 occurred in layer 30-60 cm. MI, PPI/MI showed significant differences between dept layer, while PPI, H’ E and F/B ratio, didn’t differ significantly. All genera of plant parasitic nematodes were present in both depth layers in similar proportion. Increase in depth decrease the number of omnivorous and predators. We can conclude that nematode community showed greatest biodiversity in soil layer 0-30 in compare to layer 30-60.
