Sažetak
The data about the values of coefficient of friction are used for the purpose of determining the vehicle speed. Its value mostly depends on vehicle speed, pneumatics, and substrate type and state. The analysis found that there are considerable deviations in determining the coefficient of friction for similar surfaces from different experts. Therefore, we were motivated to conduct the analysis and measurement of the coefficient of friction at different weather conditions to point out the role of the coefficient of friction as one of the most important factors for security in road transport.
