Influence of Dynamic Elementary Processor Structure in the Flank Wear Parameter Filtration
In order to accomplish robust and reliable tool wear regulation model it is necessary that the filter of estimated tool wear parameters is implemented in the control loop. In this research an extensive analyzes have been conducted concerning the influence of the Dynamic Elementary Processor (DEP) structure of the proposed Modified Dynamic Neural Network filter on the quality of the filtration process. Since DEP unit can be structured in the form of IIR or FIR filters, different configurations of both types of filters have been utilized and tested using several tests and two intervals of flank wear parameter estimation error.
