Accumulation and flows

The best means to explicitly present system dynamics is through accumulation and flow. The authors show a distinct difference between accumulation (integral of all level changes) and flow (rate of level changes) using mathematical equations. Two examples from every-day experience have also been shown: stress accumulation and balanced economy.
