Influence of temperature on mechanical properties of adhesively bonded joints
The paper deals with two types of adherends made of polycarbonate (PC) and polyamide (PA 66) which have been bonded by using a relatively rigid two-component structural epoxy and a flexible one-component MS (modified silane) adhesive. The all bonded joint specimens have been prepared accordingly to international standard ISO 4587 and tested under the uniaxial tensile load conditions at three temperature levels: - 30 °C, 20 °C and 70 °C.
