A model of the kinetics of a dynamic exchange of cations from solutions with cations from thin layers of zeolite(s) is developed. The validity of the model is confirmed by the correlation between measured and calculated values of the concentrations of Pb2+ ions in both the layers of zeolite A and the lead nitrate solutions passed through the layers of zeolite A. For this purpose, initial concentration of Pb2+ ions in the solutions, mass of zeolite A in the layer and flow rate of the solution through the layers of zeolite A were varied.
