IMPLEMENTATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL PLANNING METHOD IN INTRODUCTION OF A NEW PRODUCT

The paper describes the implementation of T-Plan (technological planning) method in the shipyard specialized in yacht building. The aim of the T-Plan procedure is facilitation of introduction of a new yacht into production program. In four workshops the participants consider the basic business factors (market, technology and product characteristics) as well as the ability of the ability of the enterprise to satisfy customer demand. The result of T-Plan method is a diagram presenting the roadmap and activities to be undertaken upon introduction of a new product. The successful implementation of the T-Plan method leads to conclusion that it can also be used in a variety of business processes.
