The paper depicts some of the improved and newly implemented features of the system for plan generation of automatic assembly GPAS, related to: assembly sequence defining, space structuring (layout) of the assembly process for bench assembly, product orientation, connectivity, treatment of the identical parts in a product. (Dis)assembly sequence occurs as the most important plan element covering all the other plan elements.
