The role of Internationalization on the intensity of local innovation : Case of a transition country Croatia

The purpose of the paper is to examine the high growth factors of the local firm subsidiaries in manufacturing sector through internationalization and explore their impact on innovation intensity. The main research question of the paper is: why are some local subsidiaries performing better than others? It seems that the local subsidiary's advantage increasingly relies on their owner internationalization strategy, where Multinational Corporation's in majority are owner of the local subsidiaries.
