Influence of mass per unit area on tensile properties of nonwoven geotextiles
Samples for this investigation are made from blend of HTPP fibres with different length, whereas 70% of fibres are 90 mm long and 30 % of fibres are length of 120 mm. Fibre finesses is 6, 7 dtex for both fibres lengths. Manufacturing process of nonwoven geotextiles investigated in this paper is dry-laid web forming with card. Method of web bonding was needling process. Samples are manufactured in following mass per unit area: 175, 182, 197, 205, 210, 223 and 250 g/m2. Tensile properties, thickness and apparent opening pore size before and after applied pressure was investigated.
